The project for building a member database

The object of this bachelor's thesis is to create a design of database for needs of a civil association Cyrilek.net. The objective of this database is to cover all registration processes in frame of this organization, which deal especially with filling personal information and notes about installed hardware. An user interface for access to the database will be also designed and partially realized in form of information system, which will be accessible through web browser.

This bachelor thesis is about the problems of corporate enterprise of more natural persons. It deals with the taxation of natural persons, which work in švarc system and their transfer to the association without legal subjectivity or a legal entity. It includes the recommendation the most suitable solution that entrepreneurs are not in conflict with the Employment Act and the Income Tax Act.

Comparison of the defined subjects in the dance field

Title: Comparison of defined subjects on the dance field Objectives: The main target of this thesis is creation of analyses of two dance groups from Czech Republic, specifically Paul-Dance Jilemnice and Enliven Centre, followed by mutual comparison and creation of set of recommendations to help improve their further work. Methods: In this thesis I used the internal analysis, PEST analysis and comparative analysis, on whose basis I created SWOT analyses of both dance groups, thanks to which I suggested possible recommendations. Results: This thesis brings information about their current situation to both dance groups, points out the shortages and recommends steps for improvement. Both groups have been affected by worldwide economic crisis, which caused not only loss of members, but also loss of sponsors. Moreover, Paul-Dance collects low membership fees, which ensure stable flow of finance to the budget; Enliven Centre does not have all individual age categories filled. The Interest Group the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic in the Process of Public Policy in the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis "The Interest Group the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic in the Process of Public Policy in the Czech Republic" is a deeper analysis of one of the important interest groups associating cities, towns and communities in the Czech public space, the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic. Activities of the Union and its contribution to the Czech public policy are in depth analyzed against a background of social movements and the theory of interest groups. The Union is assessed from the perspective of its history, types of interest groups and resources it manages (namely the membership base, financial means and means of public policy lobbying). The analysis indicates that the negative image that lobbying has in the Czech Republic needs not necessarily be fair. As an organization addressing peer groups, yet defending public interests due to the fact that the Union's members are as a part of public administration municipalities, the Union advocates those things that finally bring positive effects to lives of all citizens in the Czech Republic. Promoting the Tobacco Control Law No. 379/2005 in the City of Vsetín: a Pilot Project Based on the Cooperation of an NGO and the Local Department of the Czech Police Force

This paper outlines the development of a pilot project that involved cooperation between a civic association and the local police department in the area of promoting the tobacco control law no. 379/2005 in the city of Vsetín. In the theory chapter I describe the effects smoking of tobacco has on the human body with a particular attention to the effects on children. The next section is about the field project "Children Don't Smoke", which the NGO carried out in the city of Vsetín, and its specific stages. The following chapter details each stage: the planning meetings of the members of the NGO and the police force, the information campaign and the evaluation process. Causes of low civic and political participation of children and youth in the CR

This thesis deals with the topic of low civic and political participation of children and youth in the Czech Republic. Participatory democracy theory and theory of civil society are used as starting values. The work deals mainly with organized civic and political participation of children and youth. It is shown, based on several international studies, that in comparison with other states the civic and political participation of Czech children and youth is of the significantly lower level. Area of youth participation falls within the national policy on youth and therefore this work describes basic public-policy documents that are related to the topic of participation of children and youth. In the frame of this work, analysis of the actors involved in the czech youth policy-making, was done. Possible ways of civic and political participation of children and young people, such as children and youth associations, school parliaments, political parties, academic senates, etc, are discussed as well The work identified the main causes of low civic and political participation of children and youth and also proposed specific measures which can help to increase the level of civic and political participation of children and youth in the Czech Republic.
